We conduct our business in accordance with applicable laws regarding the protection of your privacy and personal data. The policy below is intended to inform you about how AfroZikBox collects, processes, shares and retains your personal data when accessing AfroZikBox website or using the mobile application. Please note that our Privacy Policy applies to all AfroZikBox products and services.

We collect different types of information about you, depending on the products or services you use, if applicable data protection laws allow us to do so:
- Account creation (First name and surname or ID, age, gender, phone number, email address, postal address),

AfroZikBox will only collect, use or disclose the personal data you have provided online for the purposes indicated to you, unless such disclosure:
- Is a use of your personal data for an additional purpose directly related to the one in which this data was collected,
- Is necessary to prepare, negotiate and execute a contract with you,
- Is required by law or by the relevant government or judicial authorities,
- Is necessary to establish or preserve a legal right or defense,
- Is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities, such as deliberate attacks against AfroZikBox computer systems.
As part of your subscription management, your data can be transmitted to the companies responsible for managing, executing and processing payment transactions.
You are informed that in this case, our partners' privacy policies then govern their use of the data we provide to them with your consent or that they collect directly from you.
If AfroZikBox is involved in a merger, acquisition, disposal of assets or legal redress procedure, we may be required to assign or share all or part of our assets, including personal data. In this case, users would be informed, before the personal data are transferred to a third party.
AfroZikBox may also transfer your personal data to Facebook, Twitter, Google..., if you consent to the association of your AfroZikBox account with your social media accounts at the time of registration or if you set up your AfroZikBox account for this purpose.
10. Security and privacy
In order to protect your personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, loss or alteration, and unauthorized consultation or disclosure, AfroZikBox uses technical, organisational, software and physical digital security measures. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and AfroZikBox cannot guarantee the security of transmitting or storing information over the Internet.
11. Data retention
Personal data are processed and retained for as long as required for the purpose for which they were collected.
Beyond this period, these data will be anonymised and stored exclusively for statistical purposes and will not give rise to any exploitation of any kind. Personal data of all persons who have been inactive for 3 years will be anonymised and preserved for their statistical value. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be applied after the retention period has expired.
12. Implementing user rights
In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, users have the following rights, which they can exercise by making a request to privacy@afrozikbox.com.
- The right of access: They can exercise their right of access to know their personal data. In this case, prior to the implementation of this right, AfroZikBox may request proof of the user's identity in order to verify its accuracy.
- The right to correction: If the personal data held by AfroZikBox is inaccurate, they may request an update of the information.
- The right to delete data: Users can request the deletion of their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
- The right to restrict processing: Users may object to their data being processed in accordance with the RGPD.
- The right to portability: Users can request that the website give them the personal data provided in order to transmit them to another website.
13. How "Do Not Track" requests are handled
AfroZikBox does not support "Do Not track" requests. Refer to the Privacy Policy of third party services to determine whether or not they accept "Do Not Track" requests.
14. Changes to our Privacy Policy
AfroZikBox reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, in order to maintain compliance with personal data protection laws and regulations, and guarantees that these revisions will in no way, lead to any reduction in your rights.
